Madison, WI – Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Ann Walsh Bradley’s re-election campaign announced today that it had raised $109,894 in the month of January, and nearly $400,000 since the campaign began. This new filing comes on the heels of last Monday’s report that showed Justice Bradley’s campaign with a more than 3-1 fundraising advantage and a 5-1 cash-on-hand advantage over her opponent.
Bradley for Justice filed its campaign finance report with the Government Accountability Board on Monday. The report showed $352,993 cash-on-hand.
“Justice Bradley has the strong grassroots support across the state that our campaign needs to get our positive message out,” said Bradley for Justice campaign manager Julie Benkoske “Over 552 individual donors gave to the campaign in January, and of these, nearly 80% of were donations of $100 or less. It is clear the people of Wisconsin want a Justice with integrity, independence and a proven track record of standing up for them.“
For the last two decades Justice Ann Walsh Bradley has served the people of Wisconsin on the Supreme Court. She was first elected in 1995, becoming only the third woman in the state’s history to win election to Wisconsin’s highest court. Prior to serving on the Supreme Court Justice Bradley was a Circuit Court Judge for ten years in Marathon County.
Wisconsin Supreme Court Justices are elected in the non-partisan April elections for 10-year terms. Election Day is April 7, 2015.
